I do not come from a divorced home and the only experience I had with divorce was my childhood parent's and boy was that nasty. My old friend was really messed up because of it and has never really surfaced from that pit of depression. Having not much experience with the topic I was certainly surprised at how much of a process, as you said, divorce really is. It is to emotionally and financially draining along with very complicated from a legal standpoint.
